Future of Promotional Products


The future of promotional products is looking good, with better technology comes better products and products that can be fun and inexpensive. Your traditional items will still sell and help you raise awareness about your business but, but new products are in the works every year, from paper thin electric signs to USB Flash drives that hold more than 1 GB and can be custom imprinted and custom programed to flash your logo every time it gets plugged in the computer. Something that came out before it's time is digital business cards. These business cards come in a shape and size of a regular paper business card. One side is the print side and the other is a CD or DVD surface where data can be programmed and burned directly on the CD like business cards and fits all computers with pop out CD drives. Everything from video to animation to audio can be programmed into these mini CD business cards. with time i believe these will be coming back. Greetings Earthling. My name is Carmelo owner of a website named www.SilverStudio.org. In todays post we take a look at creative marketing.

It's important to your business's lively-hood to have an advertising campaign so it's up to you to come up with good ideas on how to brand your services (unless you have cash, in which case, you can buy someone to be creative for you, but not you --you have the brain power to do it yourself). Take a look at an old pro, and perhaps this will get YOUR creative juices flowing. By-the-way, the topic of today's post is:

Don't let your company become stagnant.

Almost everyone [read: everyone] knows what KFC stands for right [Kentucky Fried Chicken!]?

Companies are doing everything possible in order to avoid becoming stagnant -as should you. Kentucky Fried Chicken is a prime example. Besides revamping their logo (see the Colonel's new apron?) this company has made a conscious decision NOT TO BECOME STAGNANT. Take a look at their newest marketing campaign -"THE FACE FROM SPACE"

Not only are they being creative with their BRANDING they are also creating a buzz about how they are. At their website you'll be able to view the logo yourself from satellites, view a quick capture of the HUGE logo construction, and take part in some of their BRANDING CAMPAIGN by asking you to look for the hidden message in their logo (I found it, can you?).

The Colonel Sanders logo was built in the Area 51 desert near Rachel, Nevada, the "UFO Capital of the World," on the world's only Extraterrestrial Highway. Get your creative juices flowing and you too can create an out of this world marketing campaign.

Alright, so you're ready to promote on t shirts using a silkscreen printing process but you don't know where to begin. The first you have to keep in mind is how the pricing works. In most cases the price will vary according to the total t shirts that are ordered. T shirt order are bough by dozens, but some companies may only offer you 24 piece minimum. In addition the price of the printing per t shirt is added to the final price. A set-up is also added per design, per color. So before you get all crazy designing your t shirt artwork be sure to keep in mind the cost of the shirt.





Here's a couple of t shirt ordering tips.

  1. Know what color t shirts you're getting
  2. Know how many shirts you're getting
  3. know how many colors you're willing to print on the shirt and what locations on the shirt
  4. Contact your local printer or us for a quote =)
  5. Design your artwork
  6. Submit your artwork in a vector format
