Time is money!

Hello to the blog reading community. My name is Carmelo Garcia and I am the owner of a website named SilverStudio.org.

The bullet points below are very helpful to remember when you are prospecting with a new client. Follow the steps below to and make sure that your conversation is centered around these four bullet points:

2. How Long? -How long will it take you to deliver your services.
3. How Fast? -When EXACTLY can your client expect their order.
4. Guarantee! -Always offer a penalty that your company will pay if your service is NOT delivered on time (if you give yourself enough time YOU WILL NEVER INCUR A PENALTY, and it makes your client willingly able to use your services).

This post will remain open for any comments and clarification on these steps as needed. Please do not be afraid to ask questions because WE WILL ANSWER YOU. :)

T Shirt - Custom, Funny and Cool

T shirts, we know they're great advertising for your company. How do you get people to wear your shirt more times than they're use to? Make them funny, cool and custom to a particular group or geographic location. Instead of simply screen printing your logo on the front of the shirt, think about putting it on the sleeve or small 6" wide on the back near the collar of the t shirt. In the front, screen print something awesome and cool that people you're targeting are will to wear often. for example, now, everyone is wearing the harsh distress artwork look. Print it and give it away. Let's say you're targeting a small a certain geographical location like Southern California. You can use something like "So Cal" and drop your logo on the sleeve or below the design. People are attracted to custom bold statements or creative cool t shirt designs.

New Business Note from Custom Promotional Products Blog

I've seen businesses destroy themselves because their too afraid of loosing something. Whether it's money, employees or jobs & products. Just remember that you can not stop ocean waves from happening, but you can avoid the ship from tipping over and sinking. For all new business owners, do not absence over small failures, instead always turn and look at the big picture!

Online Marketing

Is it worth it to promote and market online?

Yes, in some cases online marketing can be free! Advertise in local online directories or niche market. Find sites that will allow you to trade links with you. Find a niche web site and ask if you can be partners by offering their viewer your service and in return they get some sort of commission.

Do

  • Trade Links
  • Trade Banners
  • Register with local directories
  • Target Niche Web Sites
  • Be sure to add original content to your site
  • Make sure there are no broken links on your site
  • Submit your site to search engines

Do not

  • Use pay-per-click services
  • Do not use flash for your entire web site
  • Do not use only images for your entire web site

FREE FREE FREE

FREE! How does this help drive traffic?

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't. Everyone loves free stuff so why not offer it through your physical location or online. Online free stuff is the best way to get lots of traffic. It doesn't have to be something physical it could be free audio of a report, templates, designs, information, tricks and tips, free information is what everyone is looking for. Take a step back and evaluate your product or service. How can you help people understand what you do or how it's done? Maybe you can provide them with a free video tour of your facility. The focus here is driving people to your web site so be sure you use some good keyword terms for the search engines to find you, don;t forget to use the word FREE!

Offering free stuff from a physical location may be harder on the marketing budget. Instead of giving away a promotional product like a printed t shirt or hat you may want to give away a service. For example, you own a tire and wheel shop; give them "FREE" Wheel Balancing. You may or may not already charge for this service but it is something it needs to get done as part of buying tires and rims. If own a restaurant you may want to offer free delivery for nearby residents or a small free side of food with each meal for the month of xx. Be creative, promote your free offers and if worse comes to worse you can always offer free t shirts and hats with your company name printed on them.
